What is the E-way Bill?

An electronic waybill is
required to transport goods from one state to another with the completion of
GST law. It is also useful to track the movement of your goods during
transportation.
In 2018, the Government has
passed the law that the e-way bill is mandatory to transport any goods from one
state to another exceeding the limit of INR 50,000. As well as the E-way bill
contains the validity of min 1 day to transport in less than 100km in regular
transportation modes, after that it depends upon the distance you have to
transport your goods.
Format of E-way bill:
E-way bill consists of 2 parts:
- Part-A contains the details of the goods that are furnished.
- Part-B contains the information of vehicle numbers.
